Hi, my name is Mark D. Russell and I’ve made more money in a few hours online (for myself and also for the businesses and clients who’ve hired me) than most people make working some job for weeks or even months.

But, I wasn’t always an Internet marketing and online business entrepreneur. Before I started making money online I drove a taxi for a living. Before that I waited tables at fine dining restaurants. Those were the only two jobs I ever found to make over $100 a day relatively easy and without a college degree (everyone knows I kinda burned a decade there in the 90’s and I’m sure many of you can relate to that.)

The point is, I didn’t have a background in sales or marketing or anything like that. And, I didn’t even own a computer before 2002! Now I design and code my own websites and whip out brilliant marketing strategies in my sleep. I’m living proof that just about anyone can unlock the secrets to making money online and live the life of their dreams with nothing more than the desire to never ever have to work a stupid job ever again.

It started out as just a sort of a curiosity for me, to see if I could just make a few extra bucks online and put an old hand-me-down computer to good use. I had never owned a computer before and I was totally clueless. But, as many of you already know… as soon as the checks started rolling in, it quickly became much more than just a passing interest for me and nowadays it’s hard to get me to shut up about the online opportunities I see.

Once I had proof that it was all actually possible and very, very worthwhile… First of all, I went and bought a much nicer computer… and then I just went completely nuts… over the next months and years I proceeded to buy every info-product and home study course that I could find on how to make money online, how to use HTML, CSS and PHP, and how to use programs like Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I probably joined at least a hundred forums, some of them expensive paid subscriptions, and futilely looked for answers in those. I even bought those awful courses from the TV late at night. I did my best to leave no stone unturned even though most ended up making me wish I’d known better.

The craziest thing was, all the while I was making plenty of money online. I just didn’t think I had anything that would last. For years, at the same time as I was making a great income in affiliate commissions, (just naturally without knowing anything but maybe how to write a catchy phrase), I didn’t think I had anything solid so I kept plunking down money trying to find the answers to what I thought I wanted… how to start a “real” business online. All the while I was actually doing the work of building websites and wrapping my head around Internet marketing.

I spent so much time, so many years, up to my ears in all this Internet business stuff (plus actually doing it successfully all that time even though I didn’t really notice except for the checks that kept rolling in) that, even though I never ever in a million years wanted to get involved in this Internet business and marketing thing and have to use my name for a blog… I ended up discovering more about it all than I ever planned to… way more than I ever wanted to, frankly. And a lot of knowledge was hard won or didn’t come cheap, either from costly mistakes or just having to pay for it.

But, I’m happy to know it all now because some of it is very useful for making money online. And, I can guarantee, if you stick it out and persevere and pay attention to what I post on this blog, you’ll be happy to learn it too. I can now pick pretty much any market and find a way to make money in it, either selling other people’s products, or my own if I have any good ideas.

It’s a great feeling to know you can make money on your own from anywhere, but at the same time… what’s my specialty now? What does that make me, besides fairly wealthy? How do I contribute to humanity, besides helping people find what they’re looking to buy? Teach Internet business to others? Help them make money too?

But, does that make me one of those Internet business “gurus” now? Yuck. I loathe that term and most of the bozos people call “guru” too. I enjoy helping people get more profit out of their Internet marketing efforts and I like to see my students finally starting their websites and getting their first checks. But, I hope I can approach this subject in a different way than has previously been the case, and simply share what I know about all while doing what I’ve always done… making scripts and software and marketing systems for the people and businesses and friends that request my services.

I feel truly blessed and I also have this burning passion, a desire to help people, to create useful tools and provide the best information I can. It has truly been an amazing journey and I have some wonderful product ideas and software in the works that I’ve created to help me, and now you too, do what we do to make money online. I’ll be announcing and releasing those products just as fast as I can make them and I will keep everyone updated on my progress here.
